This coming fall, November 7th through November 9th, The Hondo Rodeo Fest will kick off for the first time at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. It is bringing animal athletes, musicians and fans together for an energizing and unique experience that can be summed up as "3 days of authentic western culture" according to www.thehondorodeofest.com. The Hondo Rodeo is breaking ground bringing this exhilarating combination of music and rodeo to the Valley of the Sun. Some of the most elite athletes rodeo has to offer, on an invite only basis, will be competing for a combined $1 million prize pool. Country Music acts who have carved their names into Country Music history will also participate.

The Hondo Rodeo Fest will be a "world class" rodeo for 3 days with some of the best and most exciting Bull Riders in the sport and to expand on the level of competitors, it's an invite only event. From the top down, The Hondo Rodeo is focused and passionate about providing a "white glove experience" according to The Hondo Rodeo Fest COO for these athletes and animals to be treated exceptionally in all aspects. As this event grows, The Hondo Rodeo has the conviction that this event can become a cornerstone of the rodeo world in the coming years. The core group of individuals running this event is made up of industry veterans with over a combined 30+ years of standing as culture marketing specialists and event producers. Cord McCoy is leading the charge on the ground production efforts. McCoy's prize bucking bull "Ridin Solo" is the reigning back to back PBR world champion. As the months inch closer to the event, The Hondo Rodeo will be rolling out the amazing athletes who will be competing for the combined $1 million dollar prize pool.
The Music
The Hondo Rodeo is pulling out all the stops for its 3 day music lineup with powerhouse acts including Hank Williams Jr., Brooks & Dunn, Zac Brown Band and Old Dominion who are all legendary icons in their respective eras of Country Music. To make this experience even more exciting, two more acts are still to be announced which will take this already stacked musical lineup to another level! The Hondo Rodeo Fest isn't stopping there. On top of bringing in the heavy hitters of Country Music, they will also have the one of the largest stages that is touring right now to bring fans the ultimate fulfilling experience on the ground of Chase Field. A full concert production... this isn't just tossed together, fans will be getting the full "Zac Brown experience", the full "Old Dominion experience" and so on.
