Songs To Get You In The Mother's Day Spirit

With Mother's Day approaching this Sunday, I wanted to put together a list of songs that honor not only our mother, momma, mama, mamma... who knew there was so many ways to spell it... I'm out of breath. Also, to honor other important female figures in our life, the women that have helped shaped us and just a few songs about how women are badasses.

And a big thank you to my mom, not only for putting up with me for 21 years, but for teaching me so many life lessons and how to value life everyday and to put family first. Growing up we would often get into arguments over cleaning my room, putting my dishes in the dishwasher and to pick up after myself (to be completely honest, still having trouble with that one, often a trail gets left, oops). As I'm growing older I know understand why she ran such a tight ship and am so thankful as I think I turned out all right and hopefully my future wife will thank her for that. Lastly, to those who don't get to spend quality time with your mom or other important female figure in your life, know the whole UPstar. Music family is thinking of you and are here to give you a big group hug. Enjoy the day with your loved ones.
