Top 5 Summer Tours of 2020

1- Luke Combs: What You See Is What You Get Tour

With Drew Parker & Hailey Whitters

Well HOLY SHIT am I excited. If you haven’t heard Luke Combs latest album “What You See Is What You Get” you have most definitely been living under a rock.Top to bottom that thing is gold. I really think since this man came out of the womb he has produced absolute heaters! So clearly, this tour sits at number 1, but to just make this tour that much more superior, Drew Parker and Hailey Whitters will join Luke and are two of the hottest rising artists in Country Music. Drew Parker has been a part of writing songs like “Homemade” by Jake Owen and “1,2 Many” by Luke Combs & Brooks & Dunn. Drew is going to do big things as a solo artist, make sure to check out his latest single “Hell Yeah Say When I’m In”. Also, Hailey Whitters is just straight up a badass and has a raw, country-filled sound that is gonna blow some people away when they first see her on tour.

2- Sam Hunt: The Southside Summer Tour

With Kip Moore, Travis Denning, ERNEST & Brandi Cyrus

Get to know this now… I’m a HUGE Sam Hunt fan and yes, I have a Montevallo poster on my apartment wall and as a grown man I don’t feel weird about it. This tour is the perfect mix of traditional and that newer country sound. Kip Moore may be the most underrated artist in Country Music, so another major plus for this tour. Travis Denning and ERNEST are two names you’re gonna wanna check out before this summer, 5 years down the line I can for sure see them headlining their own tours. Hate him or love him…. Sam Hunt will steal your girl in .2 seconds so relax on chirping him.

3- Thomas Rhett: The Center Point Road Tour

With Cole Swindell & HARDY

Thomas Rhett’s latest album “Center Point Road” had its fill of great songs and others that just weren’t, but this man knows how to put on a great show… and add Cole Swindell and HARDY, well shit if I see those three shotgunning a beer on stage, I’m gonna have a great night. HARDY is startin’ to get the attention he deserves and with a pen like that guy it’s about damn time. This dude has been a part of writing heaters like, “God’s Country”, “I Don’t Know About You” and “Some Girls”. And Cole is just always doing Cole things... LEGEND.

4- Jason Aldean: We Back Tour

With Brett Young, Mitchell Tenpenny & Dee Jay Silver

Gonna be honest… don’t smash your phone when I say this, but I have never seen Jason Aldean live… no reason, but this year is gonna be the year. Brett Young has a voice from heaven and nothing like driving around late at night in 2017 blasting “Sleep Without You”. Mitchell Tenpenny rounds out the tour and I've already listened to “Drunk Me” in the early wake of being single on Valentine’s Day… shit will get to ya, and no I didn’t cry. To be honest, I’ve listened to “Can’t Go to Church” like 20 times… half the time I love it and have the time I hate it, catchy though for sure. This tour is gonna make some noise this summer.

5- Old Dominion: We Are Old Dominion Tour

With Dustin Lynch and Carly Pearce

From the beginning I always vibed with Old Dominion’s music, nothing like singin' “Break Up With Him” in the shower in 9th grade about a girl who friend zoned me... but still knew I was better than her scumbag boyfriend… good times. Back to the good stuff, OD's new album is just filled with heaters, so excited to see them played live. Dustin Lynch has had his share of catchy songs… but buddy, please bring back the “Cowboys and Angels” and “Where It’s At” glory days, because yes, “Ridin’ Roads” is my guilty pleasure, but just not full of substance. I don’t see Luke Combs releasing a song called “Drinkin’ Drinks”. And no better way to end the list with the amazing Carly Pearce, talented is an understatement, still waiting for a Michael Ray & Carly Pearce duet.

Hey Karen, if you don't like my list… I don’t give a shit.
